The Assassin Vine is a writhing mass of vines with uncanny stealth abilities. It is one of the four creatures a Naturalist can use as their plant companion.
In addition to normal tricks It can select the following abilities at any time it would learn a new trick:
Constrict (Ex): Any creature who is being grappled by the vine takes it's tentacle damage each round it is grappled.
Venomous Milk (Ex): The naturalist may choose one injury-based poison that is henceforth applied to the assassin vine's bite attack.
Stun Spore (Sp): It may expel a cloud of spores that can paralyze creatures in a 10 foot area. It can do this equal to 1/2 of his HD per day.
Ironvine (Ex): The vine's strength modifier is applied as non-specific damage reduction .
Slickvine (Ex): It can become immune to fire.
Cold Proof (Ex): It can become immune to electricity.
Intrusion (Ex): The assassin vine has Stealth and Disable Device as class skills. It is treated as having full ranks in both.

Plant Traits:
- Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms).
- Immunity to paralysis, poison, polymorph, sleep effects, and stunning.
- Proficient with its natural weapons only.
- Not proficient with armor.
- Plants breathe and eat, but do not sleep.
4th-Level Advancement: Size Large; Attacks 2 slams (1d6); Natural Armor +2, Ability Scores Str +2, Dex +2
Special Abilities[]
Tech: Strangulation; The assassin vine may grab a creature and if he is successful the creature is treated as having had the Suffocation spell cast upon it; He is entitled to all saves offered by the spell. Plant Companions can use Techs the same amount of times per day as their master.
15th Level Tech: Writhing Death; The assassin vine may grab any number of creatures within 20 feet of it. They are entangled until they break free or the assassin vine dies and immediately inflicted full attack plus sneak attack damage by the assassin vine.
Black Matter Immunity (Ex): The Assassin Vine is immune to the effects of black matter.
Evasion (Ex): If the assassin vine succeeds in a saving throw to take half damage from an attack; he instead takes no damage from the attack.
Sneak Attack (Sp): The Assassin Vine has a sneak attack equal to that of a rogue whose level is equal to the Assassin Vine's HD.
